I'll bite wayward!!! Why don't you use any of those indicators and more importantly what do you use?

I do use the RSI but that is the only indicator i use (though Bollinger bands and averages sometimes appear on my charts because i am too lazy to remove them from the default settings). I have always felt it was a good visual representation of the strength of movements but generally only look at it to look for bearish or bullish divergences (ie not the absolute numbers).

I have seen some research papers that suggest there was no evidence for using MAs and never used them myself or saw need to. I did read parts of the paper you posted on the charting forum which i thought suggested there might actually be some evidence for MAs but am probably mistaken (it was pretty dense).

I rely more on patterns and volume but that's what i learned on to start. And i don't use it on penny stocks for previously stated reasons. Always keen to learn more though.
