a bit of research on rare earths may help answer your question.
By 2050 the world will need around 50 million tons of critical minerals anually to supply emerging green technologies, demand will therefore increase significantly.
The western world is seeking a stable reliable source of these elements as put simply, it does not trust China currently the worlds major supplier.
Ree value estimated at 30 to 40 billion however value adding to REE could equate to 100-140+ billion and more annually.
Australia has an abundance of critical minerals and therefore sits in the box seat as a preferred supplier.
So the question is how smart will we be moving forward or will we simply dig up the stuff and send it overseas for others to value add as this stupid country has done with our other resources. This is the great unknown how far will we go in the ree supply chain and when. Once this question is answered and australia develops a strategic plan, mining, processing, value adding? Manufacturing?
if done properly you can expect a significant rerate of the SP. So there for we have the problem outlined in my previous post and the problen an possibilities outlined in this post. If every thing lines up then you can do your own estimate as to DREs SP. There is alsn the prediction of a significant copper shortage so more DRE potential. This is why my shares are not for sale.
