From SEPA’s correspondence with the DPEA of 26th August 2013 Mr Alasdair Milne, Senior Planning Officer (SEPA) advises that “the Scottish Environment Protection Agency do not wish to attend the
inquiry and are content to rest on our previous written submissions”. In Mr Milne’s response on behalf of SEPA to the Additional Information to Support Hydrogeological Assessment (RPS document
dated 5 June 2013) his final comments are “ we are satisfied that sufficient controls will be in place under PPC to monitor and control fugitive emissions of methane. Therefore we continue to have no
objection to the proposal.”
