Does anyone refinance their home loan on a regular basis purely for the cashback offers?

Several lenders are offering around the 4k mark with a couple offering around 5k-6k.

Keen to hear any pros and cons from someone who has tried or does this on a regular basis or perhaps has stopped?

Approx cost to refinance sits around the $1000 mark.

This seems appealing when your offset account balance is greater than outstanding home loan. Aside from the approx $1000 to refinance, i might accumulate P&I for the week it takes me to transfer funds out of current lender bank to new offset account.
