no not at all. but we all knew it was amber rated and being monitored. we knew st james was chopping other managers very recently. brokers were writing about it in the press months ago. the warning signs were all there. i dont think the bears were really surprised they lost the mandate, the first inklings it was slipping was known in march report from st james. the bulls ignored the signs, listened to hamish that no institutions were complaining, discredited the bears and got slaughtered like christmas turkeys.
