I am surprised at your Tone
I dont feel stuck in ESG but I do share your Fear about the market at present
I hope you gave Buddy a TU for his Buying spree today.
Our Govt is just Bonkers - I used to be able to list all the Outrageous spending disasters that they have done and now I couldnt be bothered , there are just too many
With the Carbon Tax and the crazy MRRT-PRRT to come the twin burdens are sure to cause a crack up somewhere
The first big company that quietly says that their exploration budget is now skewed away from Australia due to sovereign risk, the first Gladstone hopeful to say that all the on-costs of socialism are just too much , should wake up the Govt but probably wont. I read my history and I always thought Whitlam was the Crazy side of Labor but with this current bunch new history is written.
I think the Market knows all this else why have not all the Gas shares risen - the uncertainty that for sure a Crack Up is coming. When that C.Milne waxes crazy about CSG being a disaster you know the bell has tolled for these lunatics.
The only shares that have gone up have been the ones likely to get some Money hosed upon them from the Green balcony.
We have always known ESG has the resources butthe path to cmmercialisation is fraught
All the points you highlight are valid.
The LNGN Marubeni question ?
BG for Train 3
But the twin terrors of CarbonTax + PRRT must be causing some consternation. I know they knew the bones of both policies to a certain degree but the fact that the CT appears likely now changes everything.
The socialist can try to extract from the productive sectors to give away to supporters only until the productive say "No More"
Cheers
