I agree that the numbers of illegal non citizens entering Australia by boat are not large, by comparison.
What concerns me most is that these people are paying criminal gangs in another Country, putting their lives at risk, to make a journey by sea, where already, probably hundreds have dies.
It's the criminal element that concerns me, along with the ease that it's occurring.
Also, where ever possible, Australia should have a tight control on its own borders. Failure to do so is a sign of weakness, in my opinion, and does not send a clear message to other Countries.
