When the Regent offer was made and the Board recommenced it in the absence of the Idie Report, they were roundly criticized for doing so. They said, and I spoke to Mike Young about this, that while the offer was not a world beater, it was one that should be taken to shareholders. Mike said that you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't but one thing was certain. If they hadn't recommended the offer, and the share price falls to $2.30, then they would be damned for NOT recommending it!!
The Board said that Market Risk was something people needed to consider.
Now that it has happened, the share price is $2.20 and there is no offer.
The Board's position is totally vindicated.
Where are you people who wrote in these posts with such vitriol??
I think if you still read this, you owe Mike and the Board an apology.
