forgive the directness but what an absolute disgrace!
the boards reputation will be (and should be) forever stained by this turn of events and the shareholders were right for questioning the logic of such a deal in the first place.
The company was just getting into its finest stride only to be sold off for a measly 4% premium! Doesnt really inspire confidence that the board was acting in the shareholders best interest at all.
For the sake of full disclosure: I sold out my entire holdings with some regret (and much disgust) when it was touted as being all but certain this takeover was happening. I hope this recent news brings a positive outcome to existing shareholders who quite frankly deserve MUCH better than what they have been served.
