It's useful to appreciate the difference between a cornerstone investor and a strategic investor.
Cornerstone Investors
Cornerstone investors receive preferential placings at the final IPO price. Typically, they sell upon listing.
Strategic Investors
Strategic investors enter into arm's length commercial arrangements, such as major customers and suppliers. Typically, they hold. GXY was a strategic investor in LPD. Gary Johnson remains as a strategic investor.
LPD does not require, nor is it seeking a cornerstone investor.
