Interesting stats Warnie ...I'm involved in the development industry on the Sunshine Coast and the stats back up what is considered to be the current situation i.e. low supply, demand suppressed due to negative sentiment, rapid population growth. It really is an interesting scenerio that we have isn't it! Put on top of that a new regional council that penalises investors by charging increased levels of rates plus the rent affordability issue and you have a potentially explosive situation. My view is that the market will regain strength into the first half of 2009.
