My only investment in West Africa is Orbis Gold (OBS), who are wholly focused in Burkino Faso.

Burkina Faso (especially the south of the country) looks to be a fairly safe area to operate, which is also where OBS is focussed. The danger seems to rise somewhat in the north of the country, and then into Mali, western Algeria, or north west into Senegal.

You then have separate problems areas in Nigeria to the south.

Love OBS, and quite comfortable with their area of operation.
