Long time follower first time poster on HC, appreciate everyone sharing their views on LNG.
This presentation would most likely be held to comply with a requirement under their licence to operate from EPA or FERC once the NTP is issued. LNG would be required to inform and consult the community on planned construction/operation activities.
I see this as a positive step for Magnolia, they would not be wasting resources on hosting this meeting if they were not confident on NTP, being proactive and ticking the bureaucratic boxes to hit the ground running once they receive this imminent NTP.
