How silly is this? I didn't actually know, i rang my accountant and she said that neither were entered at any point it was just put down as "capital gains". I have asked her to look into things further but would still be interested to hear what other have to say or how they best manage things. I invest and trade although do by far more trading than i do investing. I do know already about the tax being halved on gains for shares held over a year. Thanks again
