Deferred Settlement means cash exchange & title of shares doesn't happen for 2 weeks - any trades done in that time are queued up and it all gets cleaned up when deferred settlement ends.
My point is everyone should have visibility to their shares during this time, and should be free to trade them. Some people from commsec are reporting they aren't seeing their shares, so perhaps it's a commsec problem because clearly lots of other people have visibility of their shares and have traded them these past few days.
