IMO
It depends upon what the news really means.
Someone who can understand how much gold is really there, the cost of mining/processing it, and relating it to current price of gold can answer that question.
In the meantime its just sentiment and guesswork that will drive the price up or down.
Is there anyone her who does possess that knowledge willing to share their views ?
