If u crunch some simple numbers, it looks very profitable.
Strike x width x thickness of lens equals about 2Mt just for this first phase of drilling...multiply that by about 2gpt and its 4M grams of gold. I wouldn't anticipate any metallurgical probs with a paleochannel, so a conservative recovery of 90% gives about 115kOz or $185M in recoverable gold.
Does anyone know the going rate for in ground resources/oz?? Or toll treatment rates per t or per oz? Can't ignore the exceptionally low strip ratio of waste also...very attractive
Considering the next phase is very likely to increase those numbers it looks like some pretty great "low strip" tonnes.
