Howmanyru not all directors come our winners , the ex-director/CEO has lost a lot more than all of us put together to loose.
I have always believed that all directors should have a good stake in the game . In reality only the ex-CEO had his heart and sole into it. It should be a mandatory rule that all directors have purchase of shares from their board fee , ie 50% of their fee should purchase the company shares that they are board members of that company at normal market rates.
This way they will I believe make better decisions on the future of the company that they are board members.
Of course this is a big ask , but they should suffer like all other shareholders , simply because they are the ones that make the decisions that determine the success or failure of the company.
