    Good reply Kathy.

    My own gripe is that the media seems to imply that VirginBlue "needs" these alliances to stay profitable. Rubbish, it completely ignores the numbers, such as, for instance, V Australia making great progress on the LA route (JP Morgan indicating b/e FY11) and the domestic load factors are still strong.

    Any alliance we can get is a bonus. Not getting any specific alliance makes other alliances potentially more attractive from a regulatory concern. JB was allegedly "somewhere" in Asia during the recent IT breakdowns and an alliance their might drive a better return than something to NZ or the USA.

    Keep the core business strong and every negative elsewhere might be an eventual positve.

    IMO of course, good luck holders.
