On 28/1/11 an email was sent to Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities regarding..."assessing Karoon Gas and ConocoPhillips planned Browse Basin drilling program for regulatory approval that has been sought under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act as a controlled action.
And asked 2 questions
....Can you advise;
1/. How long this process is going to take
2/. What other drilling programs is being assess
An email has been returned without any enlightening news but with a response .."Your email has been forwarded to the relevant area in the department for reply within the department's service standards timeframe".
..which is about 20 days
If a response of any value is received I will post it pending any ann before hand by KAR
regulatory approval (informaton request)
