so what is it, exactly, that changes?

according to 'your' reasonong, it sounds like there there would have to be some of the old creation present

a person is a persona, a 'mask' of emotions, attitudes, opinions etc - one day you can be a happy person and another day you can be a miserable person.
but "person" is just a collection of attributes that comes and go, in and out of existance.

what is it that watches this event that we think is a real "person"?
does it ever change?
