You are right. Got mixed up with North East Asia's population. India slightly less than China but both may be still growing. Either way regionally speaking we arelooking at over 50% of the worlds population in the influential sphere of both these countries.
The population is largely urban meaning Infrastructure will be essential to progress so the Iron ore i gather will be used in various government backed projects as well as for private companies.
