To say "As soon as the release the confirmation expect GPT's share price to explode like a can of beans!" might be a tad optimistic?
I suspect the market would be surprised the deal didn't conclude at this range, rather the other way around.
Either way, it's not going to turbo boost the balance sheet. Depending on the gearing of 179 Eliz, the sale reduces debt by about 0.8% (31/12 numbers).
