Actually the house was about $75k cheaper than it would have been 12 months ago.
I am buying it as a family home, and not an investment - so I don't care if the price goes up or down.
I'm bearish on house prices, but I have 1 child with another on the way. I need the extra space, and I am sick of dealing with annoying Real Estate agencies.
