VIC is on track to build 70,000 dwellings this year on state population growth of just under 100,000 persons , a whopping 1 dwelling per 1.4 persons.
Rents are going to stagnate at very best but may even fall.
And given the Melbourne economy revolves in and around and only on population growth (growth for the sake of growth, parasite economy) When the building stops we'll see some significant falls as the Vic economy falls into a heap.
