    If the 'no results' figures were added to the overall tally as 'passed in' then the overall clearance rate for the weekend of September 11 is 60%. That is one extreme calculation, because going by the 'no results' factor we must assume that there would be some sold as well as some passed in. It would give the industry a lot more credibility if they followed up on the figures later in the week. Because as it is, the 70% clearance figure cannot be considered conclusive until we 100% know what the 'no results' figures are.

    The real clearance rate could be as high as 77% had all those no results turned out to be 100% sold. Again, had they been all passed in then the clearance rate would be 60%. The follow ups are required to give us a clear picture of where we stand. I'm wondering if all the houses with no results remain 'for sale'. Somehow I believe they all are still for sale.
