This current market reflects the power of the Australian dream of home ownership, most just have to own their own home whatever the cost.
There is still plenty of buyers as the dream has not been shattered in Australia like it has in other parts of the world.
I dont own a house and dont want to as I see prices coming down and plateauing at best but my wife wants to own a house no matter what. All based on emotion. Doesnt make for a happy marriage.
Talk about caught between a rock and a hard place. On one hand an unhappy wife and we all know what that means- an unhappy life. Or, a house with considerable debt and possibly falling house prices and rising interest rates.
Im going to try and talk her into a wait and see approach but I'll have to time it right, as with most things in life and catch her on a good day Lol.
Cheers
