"Bayside suburb, nice 50s WB, would have got $750+ six months ago auctioned today, good crowd.
Two blokes rock up just as the auction begins, interrupt the auctioneer, ask for a contract. Bid started with VB of $590K, one of the blokes ups the bid to $600K with a smirk on his face, everyone subsequently goes quiet and after the obligatory 3 calls he goes in to consult the vendor.
The two blokes make off like Usain Bolt. The auctioneer and his goons realise this and start asking if anyone knows them and if anyone could follow! I'm tipping it'll get reported at $600 and not the VB.
Funniest thing I've ever seen at an auction. I suppose they refused their first right of refusal!"
