Even worse is the constant thanking being pushed on us at work and other events. Its complete bs and overkill.
The only appropriate place for a welcome to the country is to welcome visitors from overseas - not everywhere you turn in Australia. That said they should keep it up because so many are getting sick of this crap being drilled into us.
