Centennial Coal Company Limited (ASX: CEY) (Centennial) notes the
Takeover Panel media release dated 12 May 2005 reporting on the application
of the same date from Glencore International AG and Fornax Investments Ltd
(together Glencore) in relation to the affairs of Austral Coal Ltd (ASX: AUO)
(Austral) and the scrip takeover offer for Austral by Centennial.
Centennial rejects the Glencore application.
