How about comparing sp performance over a 3 year period?? What were commodities trading at over the period?

Being a long term holder, for me the sp performance over that period is more relevant and it doesn't paint the same rosy sp performance picture unfortunately. The figure of 215% gain over the 12 month period is very much distorted since it is only relevant if you bought in at the lowest point - only a few did.

You may be content and chuffed with where sp currently is however, I cannot concur on that front. Can concur however, that RVR's mc should be higher.

Perhaps the next 12 months will result in the upping of sp averages - it may even retest previous highs if analysts forecasts are achieved.

As a by, I do find it interesting that as soon as some criticize RVR or current sp, they get told to move on - that for me is a very narrow or shallow sentiment. All holders have a right to voice opinions whether good or bad - it provides balance. But of course no opinions will alter sp direction - that is for markets to decide.
