Your method may work for you but I can't be bothered. I consider the tax and cost of trade .Much like warren Buffet I prefer to take a good holding and sit on it. Currently with tas that has meant a 6 figure return. However I wait for a 7 figure one. You need to thicken up that skin you mentioned
