Every now and then there are two stocks that have relative values. When this happens it does not mean that they have fixed relative values and there is often a surprising change in the relative values. I'm watching PLL and SYA now. I've established a "mean" and will sell one to buy the other when they are outside the mean. Each time I trade I will try and increase the number held by 10%, after brokerage, as I trade back and forth.
The problem at this stage is the buy and sell queues. Watch this space.
