I am a little amused by the recent UCL posts ... arguing about the worth and risk of this stock ... resulting in nothing but disagreement and getting personal.

Everyone should easily understand that this is a high risk and hence potentially high return stock.

    1. Iran is high risk!

    2. Resource is worth a lot more than share price!

Posters are considering one of the above points as significantly more important than the other. People are subjective and different should be respected for being different and having their own views.

Both points apply, how much emphasis you put on each will be determined by your risk tolerance and gambling nature.

I have bought and sold this stock and its options since April 2001 ... I have bought UCL shares as low as 2.1 cents and sold as high as 9.2 cents (all post 1:10 consoldiation prices) ... and visa versa in between. Over the years I have made my profits & losses on this stock, although pretty much broken even at the end of the day.

I currently own my fair share of the stock at the moment and have a reasonable paper loss on my screen (one of the few on my portfolio screen). I will say that I would be unable to sell without a short-term impact on the share price and am unwilling to realise this loss ... just incase positive news comes out next week. I am willing to accept this loss if necesary ... knowing that I had evaluated the "upside" with the "downside" and considered it beneficial at the time, for my investment risk.

Mind you I did buy before the November 2006 announcement ... I am seriously considering buying some more based on todays activity ... although will wait and see what this week brings.

Whether you buy or not is like trying to answer "How long is a piece of string?" or "What came first, the chicken or the egg"?

One thing definitely applies, and that is Caveat emptor - "Buyer Beware" definitely applies here!

Make your evaluation (potential "upside" versus potential "downside") ... don't risk more than you can afford to and are willing to lose.

I sure that all investors reading this thread have somhow got the relevant message and can work out what to do for themselves. You should all be thanked for getting the message across loud and clear ... I am of the opinion that no-one is right or wrong here ... you all have valid points and should just leave it as is. Your numerous emails are making you all lose credibility. You are all correct based on your opinions!

Good luck to all ... holders and non-holders ... simply understand that we all have different opinions and have a right to express them.

    Zippy
