Why do you bother? More importantly, I find it odd that you continue to post only under the PLS threads. If it is of such import, should you not be posting under the general lithium thread?
In any case, even if the magnesium technology eventually led to a new battery type being invented, the considerable about of money already being spent on lithium ion would make it difficult to start over again. Further the amount of governmental and legal work required to approve for usage will take many years allowing lithium ion technology many more years of peaceful dominance.
