For those suggesting that Cobalt will be entirely removed from batteries. Watch this, please.

You have a mineral that is required to thermally stabilise EV batteries, and increasing nickel proportions won't do that. Not anytime soon. Reducing Co proportions have occurred but that has the counter-effect of encouraging manufacturers to utilise the minerals rather than find alternatives.

Don't believe everything the media pushes your way. Elon has been waving the flag for producing zero-cobalt batteries the moment Tesla was taking a hit for not being able to produce cars - coincidence? Conspiracy? Maybe, however, seems like a brilliant way to get the market onside and regain faith at a time they were being slammed for not being able to produce a profit.

Additionally, completely revolutionising the way the EV sector adopts Co won't happen overnight or anytime soon even IF new battery technology with zero cobalt existed. That applies to any drastic change in technology and the markets adaption.
