However, when combined with a better-than-expected average toll per trip of $3.10, the analyst said average daily revenue during the first week was around 24 per cent below the company's forecasts.
"I think there's a couple of people out there saying this is an end of world scenario for this road but it's certainly not," said the analyst, who declined to be named.
