that narrative worked fine when they had sufficient cash in the bank and market sentiment was on the up.... but the inverse is true and as we saw price rise in the former, we see price fall in the latter.

the outstanding questions the market is asking is (i) when do they raise and at what price and discount (ii) when will the credit squeeze reverse so funding becomes realistic.

PM's may continue to track higher (albeit due a pull back), but that doesn't answer the above questions and so, despite its 'potential', it may continue to drift lower because they can't resolve (i) and (ii) in time.
