As I understand the regime, under Chapter 6A of the Corporations Act (Cth), minority holders have a month to obtain the details of other minority holders. The company must provide these details within a week. This allows for the minority holders to possibly object to the compulsory acquisition.
Anytime now (say late tomorrow or Thursday) the compulsory acquisition will have completed with notice duly given to the market. The ASIC form 6021 was lodge 24 April, and no announcement has been made by the company of any notice of objection being lodged. The acquisition ends 14 days after the period for objection ends.
All is seemingly progressing satisfactorily. I’m happy to stand corrected.
