    Yep, that’ll do it.

    If there was a fault with the legislation, it was it didn’t anticipate a High Court that would put such a detainee back onto the streets.

    But that one fault was turbocharged by an incompetent Labor government that didn’t heed the current attitude of the High Court telegraphed months ahead of the decision being handed down, and then, to add insult to injury, let over a hundred out immediately the High Count judgement on just one detainee was handed down. They could have stalled the release of the rest until new legislation was in place.
