I notice that we just purchased our Garden Street headquarters for $19 million odd. I could do the sums for an exact figure, but our company seems to hold a lot of real estate; so instead of ARB being rated as Retail maybe we could become a REIT.
Didn't Myer and/or Gerry Harvey sell off their real estate business into new companies releasing funds to their shareholders. Maybe the board could keep this in mind and release the franking credits which could support a special dividend of $1-44 per share.
