Surely the company would be aware of the benefits of having someone working on publicity. No need to spruke like most other companies listed on the ASX, but just to get some coverage and awareness, especially in cases where there are significant announcements.
Do you think FMG would give up half its gains after such a significant announcement. No. Because it would be in every bit of press available. Everyone would be aware of it, instos, brokers, traders and mum and dad investors. All would come in and provide a second wave of buying.
