    Intravenous Relenza antiviral was reported to have saved numbers of critically ill patients in intensive care during the swine Flu outbreak.

    Relenza is effective against all strains of Influenza including Bird Flu. There is no reason why critically ill patients could not be treated Intravenously with greatly improved prospects of survival/recovery,
