I have these panic thoughts too! The only thing I can say is that at least Govts are taking this seriously now, will put into place proper procedures to cope with it (given what they didnt do with Hurricane Katrina - they learnt the hard way unfortunately!) It will not be like the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic - we know so much more know about virus transmission.

Even simple washing hands is the most effective way of limiting its spread (which is apparently fecal-oral route and not respiratory) The only people so far who have contracted it from another person were the carers of a sick person, who probably contaminated their hands at some stage - so use a waterless soap if there is an outbreak and use it religiously!

I agree, not worth making the money if it means someone we care about becomes ill! Seriously, I dont think this will happen.
