After 30 years of hope, most investors would have had enough of this stock. Whatever royalties Biota get wil go into paying the wages for Cook and his cohort. Shareholders come last here, so we get nothing but heart ache. If you were 40 years of age when you decided to give Biota a go as part of your investment, you are now 70 years old. People don't have another life-time to wait. What surprise me was that Biota was mentioned in the Australian Government's parliamentary documents as an example of Australia innovation in biotechnology when relenza went through all the hurdles. For a period of 10 years when people tell these know-all decision makers, including the ones that made the stockpiling orders about fundamental scientific flaw with Tamiflu that led to the sensitivity issue we are now experiencing .... only to have the pandemic stockpile orders going to Tamiflu. (search hotcopper on the discussion of the molecular interaction flaw).

There are currently no brilliant scientists inside Biota that can lead to worthwhile discoveries, all you hear these days are the progress of what is already in the pipe line. This reporting has gone on for more than 8 years. This work can be done by fresh PhD graduates in pharmacology without having to pay them mega bucks.

Many people got into Biota originally was to support Australian ingenuity and innovation. Back in the beginning, getting into Biota was more than just money, it was symbolic of us being proud. What now, all we got is egg on our face.

How useless and pathetic this all became. Cook and his cohort contributed nothing and absolutely nothing to Biota, all they are good for is milk Biota dry.
