Interesting the article states 'Jean Pierre-Garnier' retires tommorrow. Will the new Chairman try to start with a clean slate by settling with BTA on a sooner rather than later basis? The longer he leaves this decision the more mud will stick to him. It is one of his big decisions / headaches given the size of the damages claimed that he would review in a new 'light of day' as he would like to control it not as Garnier would have. If he settles sooner he could appropriately 'blame' Garnier and the previous regime. Clear the decks so to speak.
