Some reasons this forum will never be taken seriously.
HotCopper is predominantly a share trading forum. Anyone coming to this forum to learn about property as an investment is the wrong place IMHO. There are plenty of property specific forums available which are vastly superior. There are no sub-forums here to discuss various aspects of the property game. There are also insufficient knowledgeable contributors to this forum to really debate the topic thoroughly.
As such this type of forum will always end up being Bulls vs Bears and just a place to hang out when the markets are a little slow.
