Lee Jong-koo, director general of the Economic and Trade Bureau of the province, said, "Chungbuk will not stay in the rare earth production area, but will attract future-type automobile production and rare earth-related research and educational institutions," adding, "Chungbuk will build an organic industrial ecosystem of all industries and institutions of rare earth and grow into a world-class industrial center."
