You see these articles all the time. It is in a lab, it is done by a Uni, it "looks promising". Not to mention these Unis need to build up the product so they get continued funding/grants.
Even if all of this is true, the time it would take for it to be proven in the lab, then scaled up would be long time.
Then, do you think companies would put this stuff into their products without it going through substantial testing - tis can take years.
not to mentions products that would be considered safety critical in nature.
It is all fluff until proven at scale and it is safe and economical to use. Until then, Bloomberg and others can write about it all they wish.
