From the Washington Post - "The Mountain Pass mine has also reopened and begun processing rare earths, thanks to Defense Department funding."
How about reminding people that the Mountain Pass mine was re-established with help from Shenghe Resources, a Chinese company, that signed an off-take agreement for the new Mountain Pass company to take their concentrate output as input into their own refining and metal production activities.
Now that Mountain Pass is building its own refining plants and will cease selling to Shenghe Resources, Shenghe is now establishing Peak Resources (PEK.ASX) as a supplier of concentrate and potentially VHM.ASX. Who can blame them?
